Hydrogen and the Energy Transition

The energy transition is increasingly driven by the development and adoption of innovative technologies and approaches, including hydrogen. In this strategic context, GRAF Gastech reaffirms its commitment through its active participation in the CNPI (National Council of Industrial Experts and Graduate Industrial Experts) Working Group on Hydrogen.

On Tuesday, June 9, during the opening day of Hydrogen Expo 2026 in Piacenza, our Sales Manager, Gianni Baroni, was among the speakers at the conference entitled “Hydrogen as a Driver of Development for a Green Future”.

During the roundtable discussion, attendees in the conference hall, as well as those connected via live streaming, were presented with solutions for off-grid energy production and supply using hydrogen as an energy carrier, highlighting their benefits, current state of development, and future prospects.

The Hydrogen Working Group is an important national technical forum dedicated to the study, research, and promotion of hydrogen as a clean energy carrier, with the aim of contributing to the decarbonization of industrial systems and the advancement of sustainable mobility.

Through its participation in this initiative, GRAF Gastech plays an active role in the technological development processes related to hydrogen, contributing to the dissemination of sustainable solutions and fostering a more informed and conscious energy culture. Among the group’s key focus areas are the integration of hydrogen with renewable energy sources, its connection with Renewable Energy Communities (RECs), and the development of applications for industry and mobility.

We would like to thank the many attendees, the Hydrogen Expo organizing team, the CNPI, and everyone we had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with, sharing valuable insights and information that contribute to the growth of the sector.
